The 7.3L Diesel in my 1999 F350 is cutting out ocassionally. Either accelerating or at constant speed, the service engine light, wait to start light and water in fuel light come on and the engine drops to idle (does not shut down like it does with a cam position sensor problem). If you continue to push on the throttle, nothing happens. If you release the throttle, then reapply, the engine rpm will then increase and the lights will go out. This is random. It may happen several times in a 10 mile drive, or it may not happen for weeks.
Any ideas....must be some sensor or a relay or something.
