I've got 50 acres of swamps and woods in the Town of Worth (in the middle of Tug Hill). One winter I tried to walk to my land (Town Road is one mile away), and thought I was doing pretty good walking on the hard-frozen snow. Then I broke through, and it was about 10 feet deep. I didn't think I was ever going to get out again. Finally worked my way to a tree branch, pulled myself out and, got the heck out of there. Never went back mid-winter.
