Tractor for mowing

We recently purchased a former farm and I am planning on mowing around 8 acres on a weekly basis. I am looking for a big , strong beast to pull a large ( 8 foot ? ) finish mower up and down our Western Pa rolling terrain. I am looking at a 1957 Oliver Super 88 and a 1949 John Deere AW with power steering. Both machines have a rear PTO and hydraulics. These old girls will also plow snow, pull cars out of ditches and other misc, country living tasks. I have a few JD tractors and I like them. I am also not blind to the fact that there other options. What do you think would be better the 88 or the AW ???
