Case 70 series engines still run slower than the competion,around 2200rpm no load, 70 series has alot better brakes and steering than 30 series and an 8 spd. trans is the same as a 30, I agree the battery location is not user friendly, I make sure I have good cables and keep them clean and the hood design is hard to work on the engine, ie removing heads, more expensive to work on the trans than a binder but the neighbor usually has a red one in the shop ours stay home and work!
