I put a filiter on a DC. I put a tee in the line to the oil pressure gauge, and ran it to a cannister from a junkyard, off of a 51 chev truck the element was called a "Military Standard Jr. (There is also a "Senior" which is bigger)IT may have been an add on to the truck, the old element in the cannister was an easy match at NAPA. I ran the return line from the filter back to a plug that was on the block. It worked for me.
