I feel your pain , had to "help out" many of our dogs through the years, I agree with pair-a-dice below though , go to the shelter or rescue and save a dog that may just meet the same fate but for no reason other than economics (or lack of). Everybody buys puppies , these poor dogs need homes.Trust me , it will help the healing process more than buying a puppy.
