First time I drove on the "highway" was in my grandpa's 77 F-250 which was a year or two old at that time.
I had driven it and also dad's pickup around the farm before that but on that day I was going to a farm auction with grandpa. He just said to me, why dont you drive....so I did. I can still remember right where that auction was because we took back roads as it was only a few miles.
I also remember my mother not being happy with grandpa because of it.
