Now, almost seventy years old, and having spent a lot of my working years in sales it feels like the sales field was not for me. It is not what I should have been doing, though I did survive, it was not a lot of fun for me. A couple friends of mine who aren't much smarter or any more prone to work then I, have done well and had fun in sales. What ever they tried worked. An early step for you to take is to find out if it is really for you and something you would enjoy. Vocational testing comes to mind. Talk to sales and other people you know, about your interests. These comments are generic because I know little about you.
