some make you live in the juridiction, others dont care. eye sight is usually not a problem unless your blind. most states require you to complete an education routine in 2 years or you have to change jobs.
county jobs are usually more flaky about pay, benifits, and supervision, but less pressure, less help if your in trouble..
city jobs are very regimented and more controlled, but better pay, benifits and training. More supervision more controlled and restrictred.
stress is based on you.. you have to be able to know how not to get stressed or it will get you bad. So if you wired pretty tight, you will have problems anywhere doing anything. (type A personality traits)
After a while however you will think most people are crooks and hang out only with other cops.
If your a jerk, you will eventually get killed, jailed, fired, or given all the crappy assignments.
