Lifter noise or bearing rumble? If it's bearing rumble adding a mostly 50 weight additive to the 5W30 oil is not going to improve anything on a cold morning. It WILL worsen the problem...
Just run the recomended oil and change it and the filter once and a while along with getting the engine up to operating temperature regularly instead of start and stop driving where it never gets hot. Do that and you'll be surprised at how long the engine will last.
