Tikka T3 - walnut/blued - $600. This thing is made under the same plant as Beretta/Sako. The bolt is glass smooth....the finish is amazing...and the gun is dead accurate out to 600yds. I have a .223 and loved it so much I went out and picked up another in .300WM. These guns are HIGHLY under rated....take at look at one and handle it.
Just for those who do not know who Tikka is...it is not some crappy NEF, HOWA, RUGER etc....
I would say buy another Remington 700 but hoenstly they are tired and the new remingtons only come in a 1:12 twist..which does not spin those AFFORDABLE 45/55 pills very nicely. Plus the Remington is too expensive for what it is...
