I agree. I have one too. Bought it for a truck gun when the wife decided she liked keeping the Mini 14 in the house while I work nights. Bought this past spring for $229 new with a cheap jap scope on it as a combo. Shoots as good as I can hold it.
Like some one above said, check the feel of the triger. My cousin has a 22-250 just like mine and his triger sucks, mine is the smoothest one of all my guns. Most gun stores won't let you dry fire guns, but with the single shot you can get a feel for the triger with a thumb on the hammer.
