Our grandsons shell corn with the rear wheel of their bicycle. Spread out a tarp, turn the bike upside down and one turns the peddles and powers the rear wheel, the other kid puts the ear corn up to the turning rubber wheel and shells the corn. Mud and snow tires work better than a smooth tire.
