JD 4000 diesel,brakes,power steering and responsive hydralics make for a great plow tractor. done thousands of acres with one pulling a 5 bottom semi-mount kverlands.Excellent combo from the mid 60's.Rather plow with the JD than the ford tw 10 that replaced it as primary power(and the white 1470 4x4 before that,what a clumsey thing that was in the barn yard).
