Sometimes you just gotta hear it from someone else.
Now have a couple options for local balers. Same brand (Welger), but a 45 year old model in nice optic shape and looks to be taken care of with no noticeable/shakeable loose parts for about 800 bucks or a newer 20 + a little year old with the same condition for 1600....
The older one is kind of appealing to me cause there isn't a lot of moving parts, knotter assembly looks real decent and is supposed to be 2 years old (prolly translates from 2-10). And...... On a forum over here, a guy redid (stripped, then cleaned, painted, and replaced parts as needed and has it posted almost step by step w/ pics.
But the other one is half the age but twice the money. More moving parts but younger parts.
Max 1000 +/- a few bales a year but more like 500.
