Have 2 A's both 1937 yr. model, hurt my back so bad trying to start had to go to doctor. My 84 yr old friend came over and I told him what happen, he said I can start them easy. I said have at it. He put choke on, open pitcocks, rolled flywheel forward until compression came out #1 cyclinder about half way, stopped and rolled flywheel backwards until compression came out #2 cyclinder about half way, closed the choke, said watch this , turned flywheel forward and started first time. He didnt try to jurk the flywheel off the ground , just rolled it forward, I have started the both ever since, no problem. good luck,Rick
