Don't know about the 310 but I owned a 445 Long about 15 years ago and had trouble with it, spent a lot of money on it, about $1600 if I remember correctly on the engine, ended up losing money when I sold it. Was hard to get parts for at the time I owned it because the nearest dealer was 3 hours away and it took him several months to get me a set of rings for it because it had a Fiat engine. Still see some Longs from time to time but all are parked in the weeds, don't know when I've seen one running last. There are a lot of Farmtracs(Longs) in my area that seem to be decent machines, the Farmtracs look a lot like a New Holland.
