I disagree. And I do not like your tone. Today it hard for anyone to make a living big farmer or small. Older smaller machines fit the needs a small farmer Used to plow 10 ac with VAC case and pick corn with a 1-row corn picker... It was work... Today one can plow in a hour what took an old tractor many days to do. But I ask you this... 50 years from now if were to repair your tractor yourself which would rather work on one that was made in the 1940's or 1950's that is simple and made to be fixed and build to last or one of today. That is as complex as rocket ship. If could I would be farming 1400 ac. and yes I would use a New one but. I never will and I plan on using my new (1958 case long after the ones of today are in the junk pile). Buy the way... I would never buy a sand blasted tractor nor would I sandblast one.... It is a tractor not a ***** sports car. They were made to work and be used............
