The only income we've had for the last 25 years is the farm.(Maybe a little farm related custom work included) Our three grown children hate us for having lived so frugally so as to be able to make it. Our family has farmed on this road for almost 200 years, but we had to start from zero. We finally have a little breathing room financially. Working for someone else was going to kill me, so at least we're still here!(Worked as a farm equip. mechanic for about 12 years) Someday I might even get smart enough to share pictures. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for �200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
