Yeah, he actually opened the discussion with askin' how many hp my BN had. I explained the bigger displacement after the rebuild and guessed she'd be about 19 or 20 to the ground. He missed the "to the ground" part and went right on to tell me about his 26hp. Water cooled, dontchya know. He drives the thing with its cute little turf tires into holes I wouldn't take an articulated 4WD fifty times the size. And then I go drag him out, at which time he always points out that I had the advantage of being on the higher, drier ground with ag tires, and he was helopin' by bein in the right gear for whichever direction I was draggin' him.
All I can do is grin and say ayuh. Bein' the neighborly sort, I try not to let him see me shake my head.
