Go to www.gunbroker.com
There is a wealth of info on this site, guns, parts, ammo for sale----lots and lots. Literally tens of thousands of guns for sale. $hitloads of ammo too......from all the gun stores/outlets/private dealers in the USA. The free market is a great thing.
The I-J rifle appears to be a WW2 M1 carbine, like the M1 garand. It was likely produced for the war and civilian rifles were made afterwards. Take a look at the gunbroker website and do a search for the Iver-johnson rifle. I have never seen one (other then on the net) and believe that 99% of all the guns made in the USA are not junk. If you have ever seen the junk from Eastern Europe or China then you will know what junk is. I worked with 2 guys many years ago that bought Chinese versions of the AK-47 in Semi-auto 7.62. (they bought these for $199 each) as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for" these rifles are bottom of the pile for quality and actually shoot ammo out of the barrel, which is all I can say for them.
