We have some very steep property so we went with a 3pt lift type. So steep I would feel insecure pulling the lift type up a hill as the tractor's front wheels sometimes come off the ground.
More than once I have pushed down the tractor's 3 pt. lift to push the tractors front tires back down. Of course this may have been due to the brush hog leveraging the tractor so the front end comes off the ground but I have had my tractor's front wheels bobb off the ground without an attachment on back.
