I have an old Bolens as well with 26x12x12 tires which had badly rusted rims. The tire shop which mounted them for me used 2 or 3 handfulls of tire mounting soap to get it to stop leaking at the bead. Also if the problem is pin holes try cleaning the rust off and brazing them. Also does your freinds tractor have a 20 HP Kohler twin on it? If so I would appreciate any more info you could give me like model #'s and so forth. My old Bolens has been repainted badly several times and I have no numbers to go on what so ever. I have a Sundstrand Hydostatic transmission Model # 90-1118. If this sounds like your freinds tractor, please tell me more about it. Thanks
