A couple of years ago I picked up 7 bags of 2003 & 2004 RR Dekalb corn seed that was thrown away at the local dump. Used it for food plots and planting between the CRP tree strips. Seems to be growing pretty good. Any way, my question. This spring I went to plant it and when I was putting it in the planter I noticed that the some of the seeds lost the very point of the seed. The black germ part had fallen off the kernel. Will the seed still produce corn when planted or is the seed done for as far as producing any ears of corn? Thanks Dan
