Gotta disagree with you on that. James' dog looks like she was neglected rather than abused, in the right situation and care these are very docile animals.
I know I said the same thing when my Son got one having a grandson of two years old at the time. Never did he try to hurt the Baby in fact if he cried the dog would whimper and lay down beside him with head on front paws.
He could pull his ears and every thing. The dog would lick his face. I alwsys said as a joke that he was tasting him.
