Franz don't take this wrong but stop and consider this. When our refineries are running at 97% capacity 24/7/365 somebody has to try to off set the demand so the refinery workers can have a day off. The automakers got by with pushing the fuel guzzlers back on to us because we will pay more for them no matter what the price. We have just gotten spoiled to the larger less efficient machines again. Besides that. Anybody who can afford a new pickup at the price they get for them anymore should'nt gripe about the $1500 fee on the price anyways. Why would we worry about a $1500 gas guzzler fee, when we don't get frustrated over $1100 seats in it or the $1200 set of wheels on it?? If we have to save $1500 on the new trucks we can save more than that if we would get the standard seats, standard wheels, standard paint jobs, and still keep the A/C and power steering if we leave off the tinted windows and AM/FM tape player stereo, and plush carpet. I almost forgot something. Pickup trucks used to have manually operated windows. Do we really need all the add ons?? or is it just that we don't want to pay for research to develope a more efficient machine at any price?? The bottom line is that if we are gonna keep dancing then somebody has to pay the fiddler.

My wife who works at a local school, and only has weekends and summers off, while on t
