Sorry cowboy,the pin ears are 3x3x1,and to answer your actual question,the springs are there,if not they are simply a couple of coils with threaded rod running through them from the lip(a piece of angle welded on) that is on the back of the blade a few inches below the top lip to the part of the harness that piviots with the blade.A couple of nut and washers and you have tension adjustment.The rod is solid at the harness and floats under spring load at the top of the blade.I hope i have communicated this clearly,because it does work well.
