Here in the US, about any of the domestics would be under a thousand dollars for a non-auto reset plow. Oliver 565, John Deere F145H, or IH 550 falls into that category and came in 5 or 6 bottom configurations. Don't know about your rock situation, but the models mentioned, if tripped, would require stopping and backing up to reset the tripped bottom. Spring auto reset (on the go) would jump you to the 2000 to 3000 dollar range. I have no idea as to the availability of any of these in the UK. I'm thinking its very expensive (relative to purchase price) to get one sent over. The Oliver was the most preferred here but I think any of the mentioned would be fine for the limited use it will receive.
