I am considering the purchase of one of three tractors; 220 4x4 belarus, 250as belarus and 2260 long. i have read about the belarus bankruptcy but am assured by beshears in ala. that parts are no problem. the tractor will be used for utility- mow 8 acre pasture , grade couple of miles of roads on occassion and will be asked to pull a logout of my woods now and then. the 220 is 4x4 but small-2700#, the 250 is 2 wheel but weighs 4300# and has diff. lock, the long is 2 wheel and also has diff. lock and has local dealers but cost a little more. the problem: which one to buy -give me some ideas- the belarus are priced at $2700 for 250& $3100 for 220, the long is $4000.the belarus are at 500 hrs and the long has 300+.
