That Krylon paint is the best. We used to spray hoods with it back when i did body work. You can spray fenders and hoods nicely. Contrary to what others have said, Krylon paint won't leave streaks and such. Now all the other spray paints in can will. We tried them all. Krylon isn't cheap and that is the reason. The coats melt right into each other and wont leave dry spots at all.. BBBBuuuttt it's going to be quite spendy with a can. Like others said a cheap spray guy is all you will need. Now days a monkey can spray enamel. Just make sure you read the directions and mix exactly like it says.
You don't need much of a compressor either, with the gravity feed guns. I've used a harbor freight gun and they work great for tractors. You can shoot the tractor outside and do the fenders and hood inside or a protected area for a little better job.
Don't be scared to do it. If you need some help holler! I can walk you through it. I've painted probably 300 cars in my time and learned with the old trial and error method.
