Unless you have a Landini dealer nearby I would think serious before latching on to a Landini. A farmer here bought one a few years ago at auction because it was such a good deal on a AGCO tractor. He soon learned that Landini dealers were the only parts suppliers and the closest one to us is 325 miles. The only time his would break down was in crop time and he had to have a tractor. He would have to call for a part and pay with plastic to get it shipped to him, plus the air freight, and it was often that they would ship the wrong part. He would end up with more in the shipping cost back and forth than the tractor was worth to use. He finally sold it for almost nothing to some other sucker and went back to JD and Case tractors. The man who bought it keeps it in a shed except in the fall and winter and uses it to haul customers on a hay ride around a tree farm. I have to say the tractor looks and sounds good, but the reliability level and parts availability is about like a Yugo car. The dealers call the Landini the Cadillac of tractors, that must be because you keep them in a garage all shined up most of the time.
