Hey Truck, where does it say in the "DOT regs" that at least 4 tie downs must be used on a tractor?? I don't know any one that uses four chains. Unless you mean two chains attached at four points. 4 tie downs might be a good idea but I don't think there are any written requirements that specifically deals with tractors. I have been DOT inspected several times with only two chains per tractor and nothing was said.
