to>Carol Weathers>>> I own a 1972 Wards Garden Tractor model # GIL-33145B. I have the owners manual and parts manual that covers the GIL-33130, 135, 140, 144[yours] and 148... The owners manual # is 89TRAC-86B and the parts manual is # 89 TRAC-91B.. The spacings I have put in these part # is correct. I don't know if these books are available but I was able to get all parts for mine from wards in California at1-800-323-1965...They would not let me order by the tractor number, only by the part number. They have no transaxle parts. these are Tecumseh at 262-377-2700...They also have no engine parts... I got mine from Original equipment in Billings Mt.{I live in Montana], and there number is 406-245-3081... I'm sure you can find a briggs dealer closer than that. Wards had all parts I ordered and I completely rebuilt mine in 98-99. Mine is 18 HP and has hydraulics and is for sale right now in the paper. If you can't get the books, I could send you copies if I haven't sold it by the time you may see this reply... Good luck...
