Today I decided to remove the gasoline tank and clean it out so I'd get better flow. Turns out there was little fuel and even less dirt, but after shakey-shakey out popped an old oil dipstick and 5 oldtime battery cell caps. Guess Dad must have arrived before junior got to the sixth cap. I suspect they've been in there a long time since it is a 1961 Cockshutt 540. Anyone else find treasures in the fuel tanks?
