HI Roy. Apology is realy Not necessary.Clasical music is not my bag entirely, however I have listened to all forms of music, (Note with the exception of Rock, hip hop,Rap) and I for one can"t call that music. Laugh when cars whiz by, sounds like their tire is flat, can hear em comming mile away.I was what is termed a traditional Jazz player, however I p;ayed 5 string banjo GIBSON R B 100. Pearl inlay.Won a trophy with the tops in Blue finals. Was scheduled to appear on the ED SUllivan show, Had to cancel.Long story, fire burnt the appartment when I was T.D.Y.in Mather . Also won 1st place in the Jazz catagory. Now that was many Moons ago. For one who reads this post will automatly believe I"m full of it, but Not so.My likes are varied when it comes to music, Now I was telling my son that Ricky Skaggs ,Jery Reed. and the likes sure make me feel good,Lot of talent. Clasical to me (with exception)is redundant, rethorical and boring to me. I do like to hear ( with great interest)Andrea Bochelli the blind singer. God was gracious to give that man a voice to be listened to.!!!! Got his C.D. Love irish music. Remember Dennis Day the irish singer? He was a member of arthur Godfrey show YEARS AGO. Guess I"m dating my life HUH? Godfrey was a talented UKE Player Unlike Tiny Tim. B.B king is the King of Blues. NO doubt about that. Great to listen to. I got a whole collection of tapes sent to me by Steve Allen who told me that was a portion of his endeavors. I wont ever give em up. Never. Now to let ya know,I enjoy working along side my Son ( Chair bound as I am)on his 706 I.H. Now that machine is all New to me, but I admire the engeneering that went into that Tractor.I also Admire guys like Allan .who has the talent to fix most of em. Well before I ramble on endlessly I best get some rest. I too don"t hold hard feelings with one who dissagres with my opinions. Thay are mine alone and I won"t force em on any one. Thanks for your reply and I do so enjoy reading coments on this site. LOU
