Bolt or screw a piece of 3/16" steel rod to the sheetmetal of the baler where the wheel is close to touching. When the rod hits the lugs, it will make a terrible racket early enough (depending on the length of the rod) to warn you of the issue. A curb feeler in reverse! JimN
