I'm with you. We live in a divided country but that doesnt mean we need to be hostile about our beliefs. Most people are far enough on one side or the other that they dont intend to change. I hate to see the toxic criticism of each other. Its hurting the site and our common interests. Hard feelings about stuff that doesnt matter hurts the community as a whole.
For example, I got ripped good about one of my beliefs on a fairly controversial subject that came up in general discussion years ago. The poster and I had usually agreed on most everything. Now, beacuse of one unrelated issue he generally goes out of our way to disagree or ignore me. I try to not even post in the threads he posts on. The sad thing is, it doesnt matter. Neither of us changed our stance on the issue and never will and it has nothing to do with ag or tractors.
