Nobody has been spit at. Whenever this comes up I ask, and out of all the asking the closest anybody come to saying/seeing somebody spit on was somebody said their brother was, but they didn't see it. Here's why I don't think they were ever spit on, because when they came back they went to their duty station or their hometown and who was lined up there to spit on them. And if they were a combat veteran, who was going to spit on them?
