I have a 3000 with a loader running off the tractor pump. It's not bad for what I use it for around the property. If I were doing landscaping for a living I would want something a little faster but as it stands it isn't worth the expense and trouble to install a front pump.
Can't help with the frame question the loader was already on mine when I bought it.
