Reading something like this sure reminds me of how much I appreciate my local mom and pop electronics store.
They are in a buyers group so offer prices that are almost unheard of for a small store. I no longer buy anywhere else. Always willing to dispense answers to questions about anything electronic as well. A good example is when I asked about buying a DVD player. They advised me to wait until the Blue Ray issue was resolved and to just buy an inexpensive unit until then.
