It never ceases to amaze me - Here in TN, the state legislature recently passed a law allowing licensed-to-carry gunowners to carry their guns while eating in a restaurant that served alcohol (but the gunowner is not allowed to drink while carrying).
The newspapers made a big deal out of it - it wasn"t safe to mix guns and alcohol. Yet, they see no problem with mixing drivers and alcohol! Every night the taverns and beer joints turn out dozens of drivers who are too drunk to drive safely. And yet, no problem???????
I would rather eat in a restaurant with 20 law-abiding,sober gun carriers than to meet ONE drunk driver on the road at night. Maybe I have just gotten too old to understand the "rational thinking" of the newspaper people.
