I was a dairyman for most of my life as was my father. The answer s to much government. the establish the milk pool price, they're bueacracy control the milk check off, They cover the inspection of the producer, The EPA tells you how to dispose of your manure.They manage to shut down all of the small processors so it is just the giants. Just try and sell a gallon of milk to a friend. The dairyman have let to many educated nuts tell them what is best. They formed so called Coop's that were suppose to look out for the dairyman. I am talking about AMPI and DFA. Yeah they looked out for there own managment with dairyfarmers mone. In eighty years I have seen it all. A bunch of do gooders riding on the dairy farmers shirt tail.
