Mine went out at about 42K. Maybe it was $400 not $5 - Was pricey. Had a 02 before this and it was totally bulletproof for 147K miles except a starter at 37K which they comped. Still had original front brakes when I traded it. Got like 80+k on the first set of tires. Don't dishearten. They are very good pickups. Best riding, quietest, lowest cab and tailgate and for my purposes best pulling 3/4 I've ever owned.
