My oil bath air cleaner doesn't look like it has seen oil for decades, it is totally rusty on the inside. I have new steel wool filler coming but what is the best way to clean up the inside. I don't have a sand blaster. I was thinking of using a long screw driver to scrape out the majority of the rust and then using a rust coverter. Is there any problem using rust converter in contact with the oil? Thanks for the help.
