Water in Hydraulic fuild - possible solution

I have just purchased a 1957 Ford 800. It had been parked for 3 years and had water in the hydraulic fluid. I took it to the local dealer for a once over and change the fluid.

Day 2, there is water in the fluid again. I was warned that it might take a couple changes to get it all.

I was also given the advice to add a cup of gas line antifreeze (Methenol Alcohol) in the fluid to prevent water (advise from a skid steer rental). It displaces water, it was recommended as a preventative measure.

Has anyone heard of this or can comment on it.
