Robert, The 4006 and the 4506 are the same tractor engine and all. I know that if you are or know of a good diesel mechanic, you can turn the injection pump up to gain horsepower. The pump is made by Bosch and the timing is easily adjusted on those engines. I would say that depending on the hours and condition of the tractor that it could be worth up to $4,000 dollars. Call Walt's Tractor Salvage in Fairview, MO., he deals in used Deutz tractors and new and used parts. He's very reasonable and knowledgeable. I bought a 5506 in good condition(rebuilt engine,injection-pump,injectors,good tires, etc.) with a new Allied loader installed for $10,000 dollars.
