Number one thing to check is make sure the splines in the steering wheel are not striped,,, EZ to check,,, if you can turn the wheel and the nut don't move its more than likly the steering wheel splines are striped,,, I have seen this happen few times
If its not the problem make the call to Roland Jackson,,, free good info is hard to beat
