SHEPPARD WITH GM : In Laurel Delaware, I came accross a very nice "Sheppard Tractor Model SD 4, that had a 371 GM engine. It was carefully installed sometime back in the 60's. The current owner had never hooked to a tractor pull sled until this past Sat. AUG. 1. What a good looking-pulling tractor. And NO it's NOT 4 - SALE. I must say it's one of the best Sheppard's that I've ever seen. Originaly they were built in Hanover Pa, with there own Diesel engine, back in the later 50's for only a couple of years. I bet the Sheppard club would like this one at the meets.
