The Pertronix ignition came today for the 318 Chrysler in my 7300 Oliver combine. UNBELIEVABLE! That thing acted like the distributor cap was cracked. Ran on about 3 out of 8 at a certain RPM,the governor kept surging when it wasn't under load,ran like crap in general. I put that new ignition in and the result was imediate. Runs perfect. I even had to slow the high idle down. I put one in my 1550 a few years ago. It made a big difference a far as having to adjust and change points all the time,but nothing as imediate as this.
