Needing help again.
886 hydraulics are not working. Was cutting hay and it stopped lifting the discbine. Stopped and checked oil level, seemed like it was ok but added a couple of quarts to see if it would help. Hydraulics started working and finished cutting the field. About 20 minutes later switched over to the round baler to bale a different field, and baled a couple of bales and the hydraulics wouldn't open the baler gate. Hydraulic lines just stayed limp. After the tractor sat about 30 minutes, I could bale about 2 or 3 bales again before the hydraulics quit working again. At that point I ended up switching my baler monitor to a different tractor and finished up that way. When the tractor was above an idle I could hear the pump whine a bit which I had never heard before. I'm thinking start by replacing the hydraulic filter (it was supposedly replaced this past spring)? Any other possibilities? Hydraulic pump getting weak?
